It's #SundayRecipeTime Veggie Fam 🌱. This week, I was feeling fancy. Still feeling myself from my Birthday last weekend 🎉♊👑. So, I decided to give you my Crispy Brussel Sprouts with Candied Pecans and a Balsamic Glaze recipe. I have the full recipe ⬇️ Crispy Brussel Sprouts with Candied Pecans and a Balsamic Glaze Brussel Sprouts (a side dish for 2) • 2 bags of Brussel Sprouts • 1/4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (may need to drizzle a little more to ensure the brussel sprouts are completely covered.) • 1 tbsp of Garlic Powder • 1 tbsp of Onion Powder • 1 tsp of Crushed Red Pepper Flakes • Salt and Ground Black Pepper to taste Directions 1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. 2. Prep your brussel sprouts by cutting them in halves. 3. Take a sheet pan out, spread the brussel sprouts on there. Add all seasonings on the sprouts, toss to ensure all seasonings and oil cover them, and spread them out evenly. 4. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Candied Pecans Recipe Ingredients • 1 cup of Pecans (chopped) • 2 tbsp of Vegan Buttery Spread • 1/4 cup of Dark Brown Sugar • Salt to taste before going in oven Directions 1. In a saute pan, turn the heat to medium. 2. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. 3. Add your buttery spread into your pan. 4. Once it's melted, add in your dark brown sugar. Mix them together. 5. Take your pecans, add them in and allow them to saute for about 1 minute. 6. Grab a sheet pan and spread out the pecans. Add salt to the top and put in the oven. 7. Bake your pecans for 10 minutes. 8. Break it up and as it cools it will be candied pecans. Balsamic Glaze Recipe Ingredients • 1 cup of Balsamic Vinegar • 1/4 cup of Dark Brown Sugar Directions 1. In a small saucepan, turn the heat to medium. 2. Add in your balsamic vinegar then whisk in the brown sugar. No more whisking after this point. Keep it to a minimum. 3. Once it starts to simmer, turn it to low heat and simmer for 22 minutes. 4. Take off heat and as it cools, it will thicken up.

I’m a huge fan of grits. I like the fact that these are vegan in case some of my friends aren’t eaten meat products.
